Taiwan Excellence Starts the Christmas Season With Experience Zone 2

It was a busy weekend with the Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone 2 last September 29 – October 1, fittingly kicking off the holiday season. The interactive event was held at the SM Mall of Asia, and showcased Taiwan’s best brands with the esteemed Taiwan Excellence seal.

Sponsored by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) implements the Taiwan Excellence campaign to promote innovative and superior-quality products, and encourage Taiwan innovators to continue transforming current technologies.

Taiwan Excellence highlighted its sports and leisure products in this area. On its first day, TAITRA executives and Philippine Basketball Association player Doug Kramer came for the opening ceremony, a fashion show, and a booth tour.

The first 50 registrants got to win a Meet & Greet and a signed basketball from Kramer. Afterwards, there was an awarding for online contest winners, in which participants got a chance to win the following: 2 roundtrip tickets to Taiwan, a Paper Shoot Hinoki digital camera, a Tatung Fusion Cooker, a Saeko Marlin K9 swimming goggles, a Tern Verge X10 foldable bicycle, and signed basketballs from Kramer.

Beyond the booths and presentations, the 3-day event thrilled the crowd with activities, performances, fashion shows, games, and raffle draws. The Gosiengfiao Sisters made an appearance on the last day. And mall-goers got to enjoy performances from Angeline Quinto (September 29), 4th Impact (September 30), Inigo Pascual (October 1), and the Judy’s Harmonica Ensemble.

Excited visitors got a first-hand experience of products that maximize active lifestyles, such as the Johnson S3+ Spinner Bike, which parallels the rigors of a spinning workout, while at home. Meanwhile, a Revolution Tri-Max Fabric is a sport suit made from special super-stretch fiber to support muscle, boost performance and reduce body soreness after exercise.

There was also a plethora of options for the ride you and your loved ones have been looking for — the Verge X10, with its ultra-light wheels getting you places in style, the Strida LT making riding, carrying and storing your bike superbly convenient, as it folds in 5 seconds tops, or a Kymco Xciting 400 motorcycle, which makes riders feel completely safe, while enjoying the pleasures of driving.

When You Want Something So Bad

I know I haven’t blogged in months. I promise to write about my Japan visa experience, the rest of the European, and Asian countries I visited. However, no matter how much I wanted to, I can’t find enough time to blog. I want my blog posts to be detailed as possible because I owe it to my readers. So, forgive me. I will find time and I will give you a Japan visa blog that will help you get approved!

Anyway, I just decided to write here. I’ve been wanting to get this thing so badly that I’m losing sleep. I don’t want to say what it is yet to avoid bad juju. I never thought I would want this because I’m not the kind of person to, well.. want it. I’m losing sleep thinking about it and the more that I research, the more I’m feeling that it might not be for me.

I don’t want to try it because I don’t want to get hurt. At the same time, I don’t want to not try it because what if I can?

Ahhh… Well, let’s see!

Anyway, what’s new with me?

I think the biggest highlight of my 2017 is I finally bought a house for my family! You know my story because I keep on saying it. Our house that we lived in for 18 years wasn’t really ours – it’s the government’s. Meaning, we can be evicted in that house anytime they want which will leave us homeless. Year 2015 when it was circulating that we will be evicted any time soon so that they can build a bridge or another highway. I lost countless nights thinking about it.

I love my family so much and I wouldn’t want them to think about where we’ll end up. After my trip to Europe, I continued with my sidelines and I worked 3 part-time jobs just to save for the down payment. Without even thinking, I paid my whole savings for that house. No regrets.

I’m so happy to see my family especially my parents happy.

This is my favorite quote so far:

Love,

Jack

Easy Style Transformation: Wigs!

This is a sponsored post but all thoughts and opinions are mine.

Even before Kylie Jenner was known for her wigs, wigs or weaves have already been around for centuries. It is used to spice up, elevate, or transform your style. Wigs can either make or break you. No one wants to wear a ratty weave as this will look unnatural. Wigs online have been coming up with different gimmicks to attract buyers. However, some are still shocked with the package they received as it looks good online but a disappointment when it arrived. This is exactly what Divatress is trying to avoid. The wig online that you will see in their site is the exact one you’ll receive – it looks natural.

Who would have thought that this is just a wig? :O Wow. I would love to buy this if I want that Beyoncé fierceness.

Or this if I want to keep it simple yet still glamorous.

Not just that! Divatress is also a leading beauty company that also sells hair care products. It has been trusted by professional stylists and beauticians who only want to give the best to their customers. Beginner or expert, you are free to choose from the wide range of wigs and hair care products Divatress has to offer. Switch up your style with this very natural-looking weaves. Different wigs online have nothing to compare about Divatress. If I’d give a tagline for the company to use, it would definitely be “My hair but better!”

Belgium Day Trip

All about my Belgium Day Trip

Now I know that this is already getting tiring. It has been a year since my Eurotrip but up until this date, I still keep blabbing about it. I’m not like this in real life, however. I don’t just barge in another people’s conversation and just casually bring up about the said Eurotrip. I have real life friends whom I just met after the Eurotrip that found out about it later on who are telling me “Oh my gosh! All this time, I didn’t know?! You’re that Eurotrip girl on the viral video?! How come you didn’t tell us?!”  On the other hand, I keep talking about it on Facebook and on my other social media because let’s be honest – this is what I’ve been known for. I wouldn’t get almost 20,000 followers on the Internet and thousands of readers of my blog if it weren’t for that Eurotrip. So, forgive me. Actually, don’t. I will keep talking about this even after 20 years. IT IS A BIG DEAL TO ME. I earned it, I made my dream come true so I have the right to talk about it. I’m sure you’ll understand if it happened to you. Charot!

Anyway, going back to the main topic of this post. Belgium! Like any of my other European trips, this one was unexpected. When I went to Europe, the only place that I thought I’ll visit is Germany but damn I visited a lot of countries including Belgium.

belgium day trip

Unfortunately, it was just a day trip because this was just a few weeks after the Brussels bombing. Going to Belgium was a risk and a lot of places were closed. It was a shock seeing a lot of police on standby with their big dogs to secure the place. Throughout the whole trip, I was paranoid of what could happen that is why a day trip would be enough to satisfy my curiosity with Belgium but could still make me feel safe.

This photo wasn’t edited. It was so gloomy and freezing cold! I was with the Catholic priest that I was friends with, my Titas, and their kids. We decided to visit Atomium and the Mini Europe. I was more interested with Mini Europe.

I never learn. I was sick for a few days when I visited the Tulip Farm because I wore a skirt. Here I am again, wearing a light jacket, a dress, and tights. I was freezing cold that I cannot think straight. It was one of my mistakes when I visited Europe. Note that Spring doesn’t mean an okay weather, IT WILL STILL BE COLD.

Before deciding to go to Belgium, I’ve already read blogs saying that going inside the Atomium is not worth it. I was just really after the Mini Europe which is near the Atomium.

You have to pay EUR 13.20/PHP 773 as the entrance fee for Mini Europe. This is the normal range for entrance fees in Europe.

I have around 500 photos in Mini Europe alone. It was very fascinating to see all the tourist places in Europe in one place. They may be miniatures but the intricate details and the sound effects make you feel like you are really there.

It’s very educational as each miniature (?) has its information such as population, currency, and the year they’ve been part of the Schengen zone. You see that button over there? If you press it, different things can happen – play a sound, make a train move, make a water flow, etc. Really, really cool!

A photo of me when I still had no idea I would also get a chance to visit the real Eiffel Tower in Paris! Btw, I was freezing here!
